BAU - World's Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials, Systems
The BAU - World's Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials, Systems took place in Munich from 17 to 22 April 2023.
Our PhD student Tabea Bongert from the Chair of Sociology was there live at the Lindner Group stand. After being invited by Prof. Steretzeder, who ist Head of Integrated Management Service and Green Building at the Lindner Group, she was able to take part in consultation meetings with potential customers and ask interview questions herself, as well as being present during discussions with employees. This allowed her to gain important insights into different areas of the company’s connections, from surveyors to architects, politicians and other building trades, and to ask questions about sustainability trends, interests and Lindner's products and business models. The findings from the participant observations and interviews will be used in her research project, in which she investigates the influence of recycled and reused materials on inter-organisational business relationships and which new networks and relationships are necessary to establish the circular economy in a company and in the market economy.
