First, an online workshop of the PhD students took place on July 15. Guest was Christina Laut, research assistant at the Chair of Sociology. Her workshop addressed the understanding of diversity and its application-related challenges for organization and technology.

We would also like to thank Prof. Dr. Jur. Helmut Maurer for his lecture and the interesting discussion on "Political strategies and legal obligations on the way to a resource-efficient EU". Prof. Maurer is Senior Legal Expert in the Directorate-General for Environment of the European Commission in the field of Circular Economy and Green Growth and was kindly available for questions of our PhD students.

In the online colloquium on July 16, five PhD students presented the results of their research to an interdisciplinary audience. As training and preparation for the PhD defenses, there were lively discussions and helpful feedback. The second part of the online colloquium will take place on 16 September.
