First student to successfully complete her doctorate!

Congratulations to our PhD student Magdalena Kimm on her doctorate at the Institut für Textiltechnik (ITA)! Even in Corona times, the examination could take place on 26.11.2020 with appropriate security measures as a "hybrid examination". The topic of the doctoral thesis is "Resource-efficient design and design for recycling of fiber-reinforced composites in the construction industry". The reporters were Univ.-Prof. Prof. h.c. (MGU) Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt. Ing. Thomas Gries, Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Quicker and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Büchs.

Ms Kimm will remain with the ITA as Head of Construction Composites.
